Adding/Creating a Plan
To add a Plan to a Candidate's Portfolio you will need to go to the "Plans" tab located down the right-hand side of the page, and then click 'Add New Plan'. The system will automatically add the date and time of the creation of your Plan.
1.1 Enter a title for your plan in the Plan Name section
1.2 Select a Planned Target Date or enter a Duration. This is the date you will review this Plan. If you enter a duration ie. 30. The system will then calculate the target date based from the date the Candidate accepts the Assessment Plan.
Note: When adding a date to the system please use the calendar button to the right of the date field.
1.3 Tick (recommended) or un-tick the 'Allow candidate to add evidence when active' option as desired. If ticked, the candidate will have access to the 'Add Evidence Type' button when the plan is active.
1.4 Enter your "Assessment Planning Information". This is where you will type the work that you would like the Candidate to carry out. When you click into this field you will notice that a toolbar appears at the top of the screen for your use ie. spell check, change font etc.
1.5 Enter "Time Taken" if this facility is active for your centre, this allows you to record the time it has taken for you to research, plan, and type up your Plan and may be used towards Guided Learning Hours (GLH)
1.6 Click 'Save and Close' and your plan will now be Draft. Click 'Add Online Learning' to select an HTML5 presentation. The candidate will then be able to access the selected online learning once the plan is proposed on completion of step 1.8. Presentations will first need to be sent to support@ecordia.co.uk before they are available for selection.
1.7 To add attachments/files to your Plan, click 'Files' button to browse and select files.
1.8 (optional) you can now add the required Evidence Types by using the 'Add Evidence Type' button, and links to criteria by using the
'Link Evidence' button.
1.9 Click the ‘Submit’ button to send the Plan to the Candidate. This will generate a task for the candidate, and they will need to click 'Accept' before they can proceed with preparing evidence. Alternatively, the plan can be submitted as active using either of the two options on the right of the submit button, this will skip the need for the candidate to accept the plan and allow them to prepare evidence straight away.
Returning a plan from Complete to Active:
Click 'Review', then 'Save & Close', then 'Cancel Review' the plan will return to Active again.
