New registrations on Parnassus (and changes to some fields e.g. date of birth, name and email) are imported to Ecordia at approx. 5pm Monday to Friday.
Login details for new candidate accounts created through the Parnassus integration/API are not sent directly to the candidate but to the email address(es) on your centre settings, which can be found via:
1. More/My Centre
2. then select Centre Settings in the drop-down box
3. click ‘Candidate Registration Settings’.
You can add more recipients and change the default password here too.
A new account/login will be created for a candidate if they are enrolled onto a new course on Parnassus.
Their login will be different from the login for their previous course(s), and they will only be able to access the new course with the new login.
If a candidate is issued with a new login but they have not been registered for a new course, then please contact us at support@ecordia.co.uk with details so it can be investigated.
Duplicates:
The report will notify you of possible duplicates if a candidate is found with the same name and course, but different date of birth. This will happen if a DOB is updated on Parnassus, but not updated on Ecordia before the next import is run, or vice versa. We recommend you a) contact LCL Awards to ensure the account on Ecordia is updated and matches Parnassus, and b) you delete the newly created account if it was created erroneously via 'View Candidate' then 'Delete'.
