Delete Candidate

A candidate account, along with the portfolio, can be deleted from your system.

You will require the following role to perform this function:

Note: We advise using the Export Portfolio feature, and downloading and checking the export before deleting a candidate. A deleted candidate and portfolio cannot be recovered

- Go to Candidate Search and locate the candidate to be deleted
- Click 'View Candidate'
- Click 'Delete'
- You will be prompted to provide your password, and on successfully entering your password the system will process the delete as a back-ground task after 14 days.  You will be notified by system message if the delete does not complete successfully for any reason, and what to do.
- All QACs and LSAs at your centre will be notified of the delete request, and within the 14 days prior to delete commencing the delete can be cancelled by contacting support@ecordia.co.uk .

Deleting the candidate will:
•    Delete the portfolio and candidate details from Ecordia
•    Erase the message history for the candidate
•    Remove the candidate from all reports


Once a candidate is deleted:
•    Users can't regain access to the portfolio.
•    It may take up to 90 days from the beginning of the deletion process to delete the portfolio and candidate information. Copies of their information may also remain after the 90 days in the backup storage that we use to recover in the event of a disaster, software error, or other data loss event. Their information isn't available to you on Ecordia during this time.
•    It doesn't affect your information related to the candidate, such as your copy of the messages you sent them.
•    We may retain certain log data in our databases even after you delete the portfolio to maintain  a record of the name of the portfolio deleted, who requested the delete, and when.
