Pro Candidate Subscription

The Pro Candidate Subscription adds extra features to your Ecordia portfolio, including an online calendar you can link to your phone and extra security for your account.

Please note: Not every centre offers the Pro Subscription. If you can't see the Upgrade button, it isn't available at your centre.

What you get

• Online calendar, which shows all your course dates automatically, and where you can add your own reminders.
• Calendar linking, so your Ecordia dates appear in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
• 2-step verification (MFA), which adds extra protection to your account.

Subscribing

The Pro Subscription costs £1.99 a month, paid by monthly Direct Debit through GoCardless.

1. Click Upgrade on your Ecordia front page.
2. Follow the steps on screen to set up your subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time.

1. Go to More > My Account > Preferences.
2. At the top of the page, under Pro Subscription, click to unsubscribe.

Your online calendar

Your calendar is built into your portfolio and shows your course dates automatically, colour-coded by type:

• online meetings
• evidence dates
• plan dates
• contact log dates
• End-Point Assessment (EPA) dates.

You can also add your own entries, such as reminders ahead of target dates. Your own entries appear in blue.

Linking your calendar to Google or Apple

Once linked, your Ecordia dates appear automatically in your Google or Apple calendar.

Step 1: Copy your Ecordia calendar link

1. Open your Ecordia calendar and click Link.
2. Copy the calendar link. You may see it called an iCal link, calendar feed or calendar URL.

Step 2: Add it to your calendar

Google Calendar (on a computer)

1. Go to calendar.google.com.
2. On the left, next to Other calendars, click +, then From URL.
3. Paste your Ecordia calendar link and click Add calendar.

Your Ecordia dates will then appear in Google Calendar on all your devices. New dates may take a while to show, because Google only checks linked calendars for updates from time to time.

Apple Calendar on iPhone or iPad

1. Open Settings and go to Calendar > Accounts. On newer versions of iOS, go to Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar.
3. Paste your Ecordia calendar link, tap Next, then Save.

Apple Calendar on a Mac

1. Open the Calendar app and choose File > New Calendar Subscription.
2. Paste your Ecordia calendar link, click Subscribe, then OK.

2-step verification (MFA)

MFA adds extra security to your account. Once it's turned on, Ecordia will email you a verification link when you log in:

1. Log in with your username and password as normal.
2. You'll see a 2-Step Verification message saying a link has been sent to your email address.
3. Open the email and click the link. It expires after about 60 minutes.

On your own computer, tick This is a private computer when you log in, and you'll only need to verify once a month.
