There are three available feature status' to choose from when adding or modifying a candidate:
- LMS – Enables you to manage the Candidates’ information and Unit completion on Ecordia. No Evidence or Plans can be added to this Portfolio.
- Normal – Selecting this option will allow Evidence and Plans to be added to the portfolio, and Candidates will be prompted to digitally sign Plans and Feedback.
- Offline - Selecting this option will allow Evidence and Plans to be added to the portfolio, but Candidates will not be prompted to digitally sign Plans, Feedback and Unit Completion Declarations. Any evidence added to the portfolio will be held by the assessor, and the candidate will not be able to prepare or upload evidence into the portfolio.
It is recommended that you select Normal, as this allows the candidate to add Evidence (and Plans if allowed) to their portfolio, and Candidates will be prompted to digitally sign Plans, Feedback and Unit Completion Declarations.
You can switch between any of the feature status' at anytime, by modifying the candidate's account, or you can switch between Online and Offline via the 'Make Online' and 'Make Offline' buttons on the portfolio front page, subject to the course settings .
How to activate this feature:An administrator at your centre will need to: 1 - Go to the course via More/Course Admin/Courses 2 - Click 'Modify' on the Course 3 - Tick the 'Offline Candidate control on portfolio front page' 4 - Click 'Save'. |
