Candidate SV Links

In preparation for an External Verifier , EQA, SV or Audit visit, whether remote or onsite, you will need to link the relevant Candidates to the user.

User with one or more of the the following roles can perform the activities on this page:

Learning Support Administrator
Quality Assurance Co-ordinator

1. To link Candidates to an External Verifier account:

1.1 Go to the "Users"/"Candidate SV Links" tab
1.2 Select the relevant EV from the drop-down menu
1.3 Enter Search criteria if required
1.4 Click 'Search'
1.5 The search results will be displayed by means of a list of Candidates in the "Unlinked Candidates" section on the left of the screen.
1.6 To move them to the right to the "Linked Candidates" section, highlight the Candidate on the left by clicking on the name and, using the arrow in the middle of the screen, move them to the right. You can use the double arrow to move all Candidates.   Tip: Multiple candidates can be selected by holding Ctrl or Shift when making your selection
1.7 Click 'Update EV Links' at the bottom of the screen.

Note: The external verifier should logout and back in again if you link candidates to them shortly after they have logged in.

We recommend you disable the EV's account at the end of the visit.

To avoid confusion for future EV visits, instead of creating a new account, we would recommend that you re-enable the EV's existing account.  Only add a new EV account if your EV changes.

2. To view a list of who's portfolio an External Verifier has access to:

2.1 Go to Users/Candidate SV links
2.2 Select appropriate External Verifier/EQA
2.3 Click 'Search' button
2.4 The assigned candidates will be on the right-hand side in the 'Linked Candidates' area.  See step 1.6 above to add or remove candidates.
