A database of enquiries can be created within Ecordia.  Log entries and files can be stored against each enquiry record, and an enquiry can also be converted to a candidate at any time:


1. Creating an enquiry record:

1.1 Go to More / My Centre / Enquiries
1.2 Any enquiries already recorded will be displayed in the form of a table, to create a new entry click 'New Enquiry' at the bottom of the screen
1.3 Complete all relevant fields including the potential course
1.4 Click 'Save'

2. Creating a log entry for an enquiry:

2.1 Select the enquiry you want to record against
2.2 Click 'Add Log Entry' button in the Notes section of the screen
2.3 Click 'Save'

3. Adding attachments to a log entry:

3.1 Click on the paperclip icon on the log entry where you want to store the attachment(s),
3.2 Click ‘choose files’ to select files
3.3 Click 'Add' to upload your chosen files
3.4 Click 'Done' to close the window when your uploads are complete
3.5 To view the attachments for a log entry, click on the paperclip icon.

4. Converting an enquiry into a candidate:

4.1 Go to the enquiry you want to convert to a candidate
4.2 Click the 'Make Candidate' button which will direct you to the Add Candidate screen, which will be pre-populated with the information from the enquiry record
4.3 Update and/or enter additional details such as the chosen course, start and target completion dates, and assign a username and password as normal
4.4 Click 'Save'
4.5 Click 'View Portfolio'
 to complete the set-up of the Portfolio.
