Assessors, Internal Quality Assurers and Administrators can add comments to a portfolio. Comments can be sent to any User who has access to the portfolio including the Candidate. When Portfolio Comments are created the recipient will receive a system message alerting them to the comments. The recipient can then go to the Portfolio Comments and click 'OK' to confirm receipt.
Once the comments have been accepted they will be 'read only' and cannot be edited by the author. If Portfolio Comments are deleted before the recipient accepts them, the recipient will be notified by system message that the comments no longer exist.
To create Portfolio Comments
1. Click on the 'Portfolio Comments' button on the portfolio front page
2. Click 'Add Comments'
3. Select the recipient for the comments (Candidates can only read comments if they are the recipient)
4. Enter your comments. IQA/IV Users only: Before saving the comment, select whether the comments relate to IQA/IV activities in this portfolio. If yes, then the comment will be used in the IQA Portfolio and Unit Comments report.
5. Click 'Save Comments'
