Manage Tasks

Modified on Mon, 23 Feb at 1:02 PM

This page can be used to defer tasks (hide them temporarily from the task list) or for Managers to view other users tasks.

1. To defer a task on your Dashboard or Start Page:

1.1 Go to QA/Manage Tasks menu
1.2 Filter the screen by selecting a task type in the Tasks of type filter, and selecting the user with the task to defer in the Tasks for user filter and then click search.
1.3 You will now be view all your tasks for this type. Tick on the right against each item you want to defer.
1.4 Using the defer details fields at the bottom of the page input a date you would want the escalation to reappear, and the reason for deferral. Use the "Reason" box to note the action you've taken. For example: "Have spoke to candidate today and he/she will be logging on at the weekend"
1.5 Click 'Defer'.

If the item still remains in the same workflow step on the defer date the task will reappear on your start page. If it's moved on then the escalation will disappear automatically - so you need do nothing now, and only need worry if it returns.

Example: to see the date a portfolio was last submitted for final verification set the filters as follows:

Tasks of type = Portfolio Final Verification
Tasks for user = the primary IQA for the portfolio, or leave as 'any user' to see all regardless of IQA.
Click 'Search'

The date is then displayed in the 5th column (created date).

2. To view a Users tasks (in this case items that are presented):

2.1 Set Tasks of type = Evidence Presented (or Assessing)
2.2 Set Tasks for user = select staff name
2.3 Click 'Search'.

Any asks of the selected type will then be displayed (10 per page with total at the bottom).  The created date (5th column) is when the task was generated.
