When there's something for you to do in Ecordia, a task is created for you. Tasks appear on your portfolio front page, your dashboard, or both. This article explains the most common tasks and what each one means.
Email notifications
If your account has an email address, Ecordia will also email you within 2 hours of a new task, with a link to your portfolio or dashboard.
To stop these emails, click the unsubscribe link in the email, or turn off Receive Task Notifications Emails in your account preferences.

Tasks for candidates
These appear under Items for your attention on your portfolio front page.
| Task | What it means |
|---|---|
| Feedback Given | Your assessor has assessed evidence you submitted. Read the feedback and accept it. |
| Plan Proposed | Your assessor has proposed an assessment plan for you to accept. |
| Plan Review Proposed | Your assessor has reviewed one of your assessment plans. |
| Unit Completion Declaration | Your assessor has confirmed a unit as complete, and it's ready for you to confirm. |
Tasks for assessors, IQAs and other staff
These appear on your dashboard.
| Task | What it means |
|---|---|
| Evidence Presented | A candidate has submitted evidence to you, or another assessor has sent it to you. |
| IQA Feedback Given | Evidence you assessed has been verified, and there's IQA feedback for you to read. |
| Last IQA Feedback was disagreement | The assessor has completed the actions you set on a piece of evidence. |
| Overdue Second Line Assessment or IQA Action | Second-line assessment (SLA) or IQA actions on this evidence weren't completed by the target date. |
| Permission Request | A user is asking for permission to change evidence or assessment content. |
| Portfolio Action | An automatic task created by a course event, a learning aim sampling event, or an event set up under Manage Events on the portfolio. |
| Portfolio Certification | Final verification has been approved. You can usually claim the certificate for the completed learning aims or units now. |
| Portfolio Final Verification | A portfolio has been submitted to you for final verification. |
| Second Line Assessing | Evidence has been sent to you for second-line assessment. |
| SLA or IQA Feedback Given to Assessor | Evidence you assessed has SLA or IQA feedback for you to act on. |
| Unit Completion Declaration | A unit is ready for the assessor to confirm as complete, or ready for verification. Who receives this task depends on the portfolio's Individual Learning Plan. |
