Access to Candidates

Modified on Mon, 23 Feb at 1:18 PM

Centres can restrict Centre-based Users from accessing specified Candidates even if the centre-based user has a relationship to the candidate(s).  This feature can be used for dispute resolution, or to simply cease a user from accessing a candidate they no longer need to view; for example, where reallocating the candidate has not been sufficient.

You will need one of the following roles to access this feature:

Learning Support Administrator
Quality Assurance Co-ordinator

1. To revoke a centre-based users access to a candidate:

1.1 Go to "My Centre" / "Manage"
1.2   In the drop-down list select 'Access to Candidates'
1.3   Search and select the Centre-based user on the left (note: you cannot set-up/mange access restrictions on your own account)

1.4 Select one or more candidates on the right
1.5   Click 'Done'.

2. Remove access restrictions:

2.1   Go to "My Centre" / "Manage"
2.2 In the drop-down list select 'Access to Candidates'
2.3   Search and select the Centre-based user on the left (note: you cannot set-up access restrictions on your own account)

2.4   Click the X next to the candidate(s) on the right for whom access restrictions no longer apply
2.5 Click 'Done'.
