For assessors.
If a unit is complete before its progress reaches 100%, for example because there's already enough evidence or the candidate has prior learning (APEL, RPL or RPA), you can override the progress and mark the unit as 100% complete.
Marking a unit as complete
- On the Portfolio Front Page, click the unit.
- Click Manage Unit.
- Enter the completion date.
- Enter a comment explaining why you're completing the unit. A comment is required.
- Click Complete and Confirm.
Tip: You can also do this from the Individual Learning Plan. On the Portfolio Front Page, click Individual Learning Plan, then Manage Units, and choose the unit.
The unit is now confirmed as complete, and the candidate is notified so they can confirm it too. The unit is locked, so no more evidence can be linked to it.
For what happens next, and how to undo a confirmation, see Confirming Unit Completions.
